What if they were actually using the populations of developing countries as guinea pigs for pharmaceutical experiments? Fouad could just go on with his life as though he hadn't seen anything. That would probably be better for him. But that's just not really his style...

Gail Llewellyn, the man responsible for evaluating the validity of the Alter Ego theory, travels to Singapore accompanied by his mistress. Gail, who got his job thanks to American pressure on the UN, knows that they are expecting him to sway the Committee's deliberations towards a negative conclusion. He's not too bothered by this, since he himself is somewhat skeptical about the Alter Ego theory. That is, at least, until the day he finds his life indebted to a young woman mandated by his own Alter Ego. Whether he likes it or not, for Gail, choosing his truth becomes a question of life or death.
